So often we start by targeting monetary gains losing to convey the actual value of the product or service involved.

Adding value and increase in your value are codependent.

Here I am listing some ways on how to increase your value at work

Increase your skillset

Skill sets are what that makes you stand apart from the rest and make the very first impression on potential employer/clients.

Try to increase your skill sets in any vocation you work upon to have a leading-edge over others.

The precise concept is focused on creating use-value and receive success and money as a by-product.

This is one of the essential key to success.

Help your peers

Adding value to your peers help create an environment that helps fuel your passion to add more to the community.

Also, it is well known according to the laws of the universe the more you give, the more you receive.

Serving as an ultimate way of success, you should be ever ready to help your friends and colleagues.

Fill in the gaps

Fill in the gap where your skillset and knowledge can be of value.

Become a bridge between problem and solution. This is where ideas are born.

There are still a plethora of problems we face in day to day life. Work out a solution through your expertise and skillsets and add value to society.

Creation not competition

Adding value can only come out of an inner desire for creativity. You can’t evoke an idea just out of competitive spirit.

A creative person knows how to apply creativity to come out of obstacles.

Man can form things in his thought, and by impressing his thought upon formless substance can cause the thing he thinks to be created.

In order to do this, man must pass from the competitive to the creative mind; otherwise he cannot be in harmony with the Formless Intelligence, which is always creative and never competitive in spirit- Wallace Wattles

Increase your personal value

Not everyone is equipped with a stable financial background. Some may pursue higher studies while some may not.

But time and again we have seen entrepreneurs without a formal education degree making most of their “personal value” to achieve massive wealth.

The point I am trying to make is that though a formal degree guarantees the credibility of his quantitative and qualitative skills but is not only the sole criterion to guarantee success.

Value addition only comes from an inner desire to contribute

In your free time, you can take short courses on public speaking, personality development, Neurolinguistic programming, yoga, meditation, etc.

The list is endless and can include anything that increases your value.

Though I have included some non-work based skills but they significantly help in improving your mental state for a better you.

A better you is able to better serve society.

As Tony Robbins says that if you are starting with your venture “resource is not a problem if you are resourceful”

A resourceful person is well able to attract his tribe as his main focus is on adding value.

If you are doing something that adds value, your ideal customer persona will magnetize towards you.

Repay trust with excellence

See it as an opportunity to demonstrate your skills.

Though this growth may be slow initially but soon you will start seeing exponential growth in your growth.

In terms of energy

In an energetic sense, it is what energy you are putting out in the universe.

As Joe Dispenza says, you can accept belief and surrender only to the ideas equivalent to the vibration you offer.

Here as you depict the vibration of value addition, you can accept, believe and surrender to ideas equivalent to that level.

So, as you focus more and more on value addition soon you start living in that state of being and achieve goals faster.
